Departure from Marrakech, in the morning, towards Dades Gorges. On the way you will cross the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka, driving through numerous Berber villages of Nomads who inhabit the area. Continue via Ouarzazate crossing the Valley of Roses, to get into the Dades Gorges, where the “route of the thousand kasbahs” begins. Overnight at the Hotel in the Dades Valley.
After breakfast, set off to the Todra Gorge, where you can take a pleasant walk through the impressive canyon walls higher than 200 meters, before departure for the desert through the palmgrove of Tafilalet. Upon arrival in the desert, we expect our camels to go on an hour and a half route, trekking through the sand dunes to the heart of the desert to watch the beautiful sunset. Wrapped by the Great Dune, you will enjoy the music of drums, you will be served dinner and Moroccan tea, while looking at the immense starry sky. Overnight at the Berber tents.
Early morning wake up to see another great show between the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara: the spectacular sunrise. Again you will mount your camels for another route back to the hotel. Breakfast and shower, and continue our way to Rissani where you will walk through the biggest, most authentic and traditional Moroccan souk. Continue to Ouarzazate, on the road you can contemplate the beauty of the Draa Valley and its thousands of palm trees. Arrival at the village of Ait Benhaddou. Night and dinner at hotel.
After breakfast, visit of the fabulous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, famous for being the set of more than twenty films like “Babel”. You will take the trail that leads to another of the best preserved kasbahs in the country, Telouet (it is possible to visit it inside). Back to Marrakech, contemplating the beauty of the mountains full of villages inhabited by Berbers.
